Every dawn that you arise from your slumber, a unique thought always occupies your mind and drives you to step out with an agenda.
Could be the urge to work harder to ensure the very best for your life and those you love. Could be to watch your favorite morning show or could be not to be late for a meeting.
In the quest for some of these, I’ve always learnt to “Be Humble” at the end of the day, learn more than argue, unlearn and relearn, listen more than just hearing and endeavor to be a better human.
Youths have had their own ups and downs, faced with challenges. Some have learnt while others have deliberately refused to change.
While we’re at the helm of our hustle, and seeking to grow at it, we always remind each other that “Ebintu Byensi Tebikumalangamu” and you might be tired of me throwing that phase around but don’t get to heed to it.
There are some trivial things that you might think are negligible but could throw you into a frenzy on a random day. Don’t talk to people arrogantly like you are an immortal, tomorrow they could be the people that you’ll need to come out of a ditch.
While you may feel proud about being knowledgeable and intelligent, don’t be at a Job and feel like you’re irreplaceable, my brother, you’ll be replaced without any remorse and the job will keep running. You’re not bigger than a company!
Don’t ever sit in your comfort zone and seal a thought of being an “asset that is irreplaceable”, you can be replaced in a snap of a finger. Whether in a relationship, at your Job or in anything that you don’t fully control. Be Humble!
“Through our great good fortune, in our youth our hearts were touched with fire. It was given to us to learn at the outset that life is a profound and passionate thing.” ~ Holmes
